Workshop with International Wedding Photographer

Last Monday and Tuesday I attended a workshop led by David Beckstead who photographs weddings all over the world. He has a style all his own but is generous with his expertise. I haven't done much "fashion" photography, but I learned quite a bit from David. Here are a few images I made this past week. Let me know what you think!

Open House Success!

Thank you to the many friends who dropped by Sunday for the Open House. My thanks, too, to Beth Crocker of Chocolate Soup who prepared the delicious food and to her helper, Cheryl who keeps Beth in line! Tracy Phillips, a neighbor and friend, is a distributor for Southern Living at Home, and she graciously provided all the serving pieces which really enhanced the food display. Terrific day!

A 2008 Senior

Danielle and I had a great time in the small town of Helena where my studio is located. We went down by Buck's Creek, the old Helena jailhouse, and a train car which also serves as a Welcome Center. Open House Scheduled!

Put it on your calendar--Sunday, October 28, 2007, from 2-6 at the studio. Directions from AL 31: turn onto AL Hwy. 261, go 4 1/2 miles, turn left into parking lot of Incahoots. Studio is on the second floor of the buildings at the back of the lot. We'll have lots of fun celebrating a dream come true!

New Studio!

This month I really feel like we've made a lot of progress in getting the studio open for business. We have a new computer, and it is connected to a widescreen TV so my clients can view their photos the same day we have our session! Here I am in the studio where I have multiple areas for making photographs. We are planning an open house in October...please send me an e-mail if you would like to be added to the invitation list! We would love to see you there!

Celebrate being Two!

Will's parents brought him to me on his second birthday...I asked Mom to buy him a cupcake to celebrate. We had much fun as you can see by clicking here to view a short slidshow. Enjoy!

E-Session with Anna and Dave

Click here to see the engagement session for Anna and Dave. They are getting married in December. These images were made in my studio in Helena as well as in Old Town Helena. It was over 100 degrees, and we started outside around 6:30! Looking forward to their wedding when the weather will be a little cooler! :)

Hannah and Randy--what a delightful couple! We had a great time with them at Mountain View Gardens and Ballroom. It had rained most of the week but stopped as we were driving to meet them at the venue! The clouds gave way to a little sunshine as Randy and Hannah said their vows atop this spectacular crest. An Engagement Session

Recently my husband and I had an opportunity to spend an afternoon in a local park with a terrific couple, Katie and Ross. Their wedding is planned for October. Ross just learned he will be deployed to Iraq in either August or the week after their October wedding. They are in our prayers!
